INTRODUCTION

The Lab Master Foam Compressibility Tester provides precise, repeatable measurement of foam and sponge materials with 0.1 gram force resolution and 0.02% fullscale accuracy. Position is measured to 0.1 µm resolution and 0.2 µm repeatability. Each compressibility test produces thousands of data points that are used to generate force/position curves. These tests provide better insight into material properties than traditional measurement of foam density or "soft-to-firm" ratings.
