Test Results Correlate with Test Panel Evaluations
Testing Machines Inc. introduces the Lab Master Softness Tester that precisely measures bulking thickness and compressibility and determines a Softness Index that correlates to test panel evaluations of softness. Manufacturers and specifiers of tissue and nonwoven products can use this Softness Index in process control to measure softness to an objective standard to assure conformance to specification. The Lab Master Softness Tester displays numerical values and real-time graphs of the Softness Index on a touch-screen flat panel monitor. The tester can be configured for one-touch process control measurements of sophisticated R&D analysis to predict product behavior.
